MI History

Media Inspiration was launched in early 1999 by Founder Phil De Paulis. Since its inception it has been a resource centre for designers across the globe. Geared towards its users the site has become a intircal tool for designers seeking inspiration on the web. Released Version (1999)
	Initially the concept was to feature a designer every day on the site. We planed to organize a photoshot with the designers whereby the interface of the site would change with the featured designer across the site. The concept proved to be great but with time and resources limited it was not implemented.

Released Version (2000)
	The 2000 release of the site was slightly different than our first site. This version had significant changes where we introduced a user gallery, and most of the features were easier to access. The overall design was much more modernized, and we also introduced our first logo mark. This was our attempt to modernize the site and give it that fresh / funky look. although it was esthetically pleasing it proved to be difficult to update and cumbersome for our users.

Released Version (2001)
	This site release put us back on the map. When Media Inspiration was initially developed it was intended to empower designers with a community based resource where they were able to easily find the appropriate resources that contained only well designed, creative and inspirational web sites. The previous two versions of the sites failed where this one has succeeded.

Released Version (2003)
	The current version of Media Inspiration is a far cry from our initial release in 1999. We have taken the last 2 years and really listened to our users and what they wanted. Our users are the ones who keep us driving onwards and making us improve our site. We decided that a face lift just wasn't good enough this time. Our site was about content and we had to manage it allot better. We redeveloped the entire management system from scratch, and introduced many new features to our users. This new site now allows us to manage our content better and have an optimized user interface. We hope that our users appreciate all the work that was implemented on this release and that we can serve our users better, faster and easier with the improvements we have made to this years release.
